Senior Sales Manager - Rail Signage & Platform Infrastructure Products

Flexible Remote, Hybrid or On‑Site in West London

Prados&Delgado S.L. is a pioneering technology, advanced design and manufacturing company established over 50 years, leader in specialist solutions for passenger transport. We manufacture signs, digital signs and platform furniture infrastructure for rail, light rail, underground and tram networks.

A new, exciting opportunity has been created for an ambitious Senior Sales / Business Development Manager to lead the growth of this division, identifying, developing, negotiating and closing profitable business opportunities within the Rail sector.


Responsibilities

* Drive sales and ensure the division is responsive, proactively identifying and closing business opportunities.
* Develop client account plans and devise winning opportunity strategies.
* Support bid preparation, contracts and proposals for prospective new business.
* Own customer relationship and maintain it through effective account management.
* Be the first point of contact for inbound leads and enquiries, following up promptly.
* Understand user needs and technical requirements; promote our design & manufacturing capabilities, services and funding solutions.
* Identify and develop opportunities within existing contracts and strategic customers.
* Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline to hit targets and agreed margins.
* Provide input into the development of sales forecasts and annual plans.
* Analyse market and competition, gather intelligence, and identify research trends.
* Establish sales and innovative marketing initiatives to leverage competitive advantage.
* Attend trade shows and relevant industry conferences/events.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain a compliant CRM system.
* Collaborate and cross‑sell opportunities company‑wide.


The Person

* Proven track record in a senior sales or business development role within the UK rail sector infrastructure market.
* Deep understanding of rail signage and platform infrastructure products (digital signage, wayfinding, information displays, ticketing machines, walkways, seating, shelters, cycle storage, etc.).
* Technical credibility with experience in architectural metalwork/on‑street furniture products or broader engineering/sheet metal fabrication environments.
* Experience providing off‑the‑shelf and bespoke customer solutions.
* Understanding of EPC‑led sales processes, customer requirements, specifications and industry standards.
* Familiar with tender and procurement processes for UK rail, including engagement with Passenger Transport Executive bodies and partners (TCOs, contractors, consultants).
* Experience across the sales cycle: pipeline development to deal closing.
* Strong commercial and financial skills, able to produce sales forecasts, reports & updates.
