Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum.

Role Overview
We currently have a vacancy for an advanced practitioner in the Bassetlaw Family Support and Safeguarding Team. As an advanced practitioner you will be the allocated social worker for a limited number of children with complex family circumstances and, under the direction of the Team Manager, will co‑work and provide support to social workers to increase their knowledge and skills in high‑quality assessment, analysis and risk management. You will have supervisory responsibility for a small number of workers and will support reflective and group supervision within the team.
You will need to have 3 years’ post‑qualifying experience in children’s social care and have experience of mentoring and supervising others. The teams also work with families within pre‑proceedings and care proceedings, so a sound knowledge and experience of court work is required.
The teams are well supported by business support colleagues and dedicated social work support officers, who enable social workers to spend more time with children and their families.
