We are currently recruiting for a full-time Admin / Operations Assistant for one of our prestigious clients based in the Littlehampton area.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of their busy transport office, responding to customer enquiries via telephone or email in an efficient manner. Communicate and work with various teams, contractors, clients, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations, ensuring operational tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met. Help identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved and suggest potential solutions. Assist with scheduling meetings, transportation, or shipments and ensure proper handling of logistics. Assist with compiling operational data and producing reports for the management team where required. Provide excellent customer service by handling enquiries, complaints, and resolving issues related to operations.

What We’re Looking For:

2. Previous experience within a transport/logistics environment is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn the various business software systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. Proactive and self-motivated work ethic, ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong time-management skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and ensure accuracy in operational tasks. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work well within a team environment and independently when needed. Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.

What’s on Offer:

3. Salary £28,600 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
4. Hours of work: 2 week working rota Monday to Friday Week 1) Early Shift 08:00 – 17:00 Week 2) Late Shift 10:00 – 19:00 Every other Saturday 08:00 – 14:00
5. Free on-site parking
6. Immediate start available for the right candidate
7. Temp to perm opportunities
