Practice Nurse – GP Surgery (East of Chelmsford)
Location: East of Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £20 – £25 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Full-time (4 days per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery located east of Chelmsford. The surgery cares for a patient list of around 13,000 patients across two sites and is looking for a nurse who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
• 2 days per week: COPD & Asthma management
• 2 days per week: Treatment Room duties
• 1 morning of Extended Access (7am – 8am) per week (paid as overtime)
• Working collaboratively with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care
About You:
• Previous experience as a Practice Nurse within a GP surgery (essential)
• Confident in using System One (TPP)
• Skilled in chronic disease management (particularly respiratory conditions)
• Competent in a wide range of treatment room procedures
• Able to work flexibly across two surgery sites
