You will be working in the Building Services OU based in Kent where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager who will manage and deliver the project and programme within budget, ensuring the achievement of contractual requirements. Building the satisfaction of internal and external customers, as well as managing client and customer stakeholders
As the Operations Manager, you will:
1. Participate in developing, maintaining, and executing a Health, Safety, Environment and sustainability project action plan.
2. Participate in developing, maintaining, and executing a Health, Safety, Environment and sustainability project action plan.
3. Accurately report progress each month, including key activities linked to compliance and H&S. To take a proactive approach to prevent losses and maximise profitability.
4. Develop a collaborative working relationship with each shareholder/ customer/ client.
5. Be a key contact and to build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the Skanska Building Services team and client.
We are looking for:
6. An experienced Operations Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in managing projects and facilities management service delivery across multiple sites in a large portfolio.
7. Practiced proven leader, operationally, commercially and financially astute.
8. Technical background with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
9. LV Electrical Authorised person.
10. Extensive knowledge of managing Water hygiene in line with statutory regulations.
11. Proven client and stakeholder relationship builder.
12. Strong knowledge of process safety, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards.
