We’re growing fast and looking for a confident Account Director to lead one of our biggest clients while helping us strengthen the systems, people and processes that power our growth.
The Role
This 3-month role (potential for extension) is for someone who combines strategic leadership with strong operational thinking.
You’ll oversee a flagship client relationship, guide a talented account team, and help shape the frameworks that make our work scalable and consistent.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Growth
* Act as the senior strategic partner for our flagship client, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g. CMO, Head of Comms).
* Lead the development and delivery of integrated social media strategies that combine in-house created content, creator-led content, and influencer collaborations.
* Ensure all campaigns and deliverables are aligned with client business goals, from awareness through to conversion.
* Oversee day-to-day account performance, ensuring work is on time, on budget and consistently excellent.
* Identify and scope opportunities to expand client partnerships through new ideas, services or channels.
Team Leadership & Recruitment
* Lead and coach the client services team to deliver strategic, creative and operational excellence.
* Provide ongoing feedback and guidance to improve client communication, strategic thinking and presentation quality.
* Support agency growth by contributing to team structure and participating in recruitment and onboarding processes.
Business Operations & Systems
* Design and implement practical tools and processes that streamline delivery, reporting and collaboration across the agency.
* Build systems that improve visibility of performance, workload and profitability.
* Help standardise best practices and workflows to support efficiency, consistency and scale.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as an Account Director in a social-first or creative agency.
* Confidence leading senior client relationships and managing complex projects.
* Strong understanding of paid, organic and influencer ecosystems.
* Experience developing and supporting teams.
* Commercially sharp, strategic and operationally minded.
