Job Title: Conveyancing AssistantLocation: Ellesmere Port (Potential hybrid after a period of time)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceThe Role An established legal practice is recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant to support its property department. The successful candidate will assist with a range of conveyancing tasks and help ensure smooth progress of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion and post completion.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the conveyancing team by preparing and maintaining case files, ordering searches, and managing documentation relating to property transactions.Communicate with clients, lenders, estate agents and third parties to obtain information, send updates, and progress cases efficiently.Assist with post completion work including Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions, and file closures.Handle incoming and outgoing post, update client records, and ensure all documentation is filed and tracked accurately.Provide general administrative support to the team, helping maintain high standards of client service and departmental organisation.About YouIdeally 6-12 months' experience in a conveyancing support role or legal environment.Previous exposure to post completion tasks desirable but not essential.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.Good communication skills and a proactive, client focused approach.Comfortable working in a team and supporting high quality service delivery.Why Join This is a great opportunity to develop your conveyancing career within a supportive legal team handling residential property work and a variety of related matters.
