Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced sewing pattern maker to develop production-ready patterns for a sewn product to be manufactured on industrial sewing machines.
This is a short-term contract project with a quick turnaround. There may be additional projects in the future, depending on fit and performance.
Scope of Work:
Create accurate, production-ready sewing patterns based on provided specs and/or prototype samples
Ensure patterns are optimized for industrial machine production
Provide digital files in standard formats suitable for manufacturing
Include seam allowances, notches, grainlines, and all necessary production markings
Make 1–2 revision rounds if needed
Requirements:
Proven experience creating patterns for industrial manufacturing (not home sewing only)
Ability to translate design intent into scalable, production-ready patterns
Strong understanding of fabric behavior and construction methods
Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
Clear communication and responsiveness
Nice to Have:
Experience with soft goods, apparel, medical textiles, or technical sewn products
Knowledge of grading and size scaling
Experience working with clothing and undergarments
Timeline:
We are looking to begin immediately and complete the initial pattern within 1-2 weeks.
