Job Summary
To provide efficient and friendly service to all patients and visitors attending outpatient departments. Responsibilities include accurately recording patient attendance, ensuring timely action on patient outcomes, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Record patient attendance accurately and promptly, in line with departmental policies.
2. Ensure patient outcomes are actioned correctly and timely.
3. Make follow-up appointments and handle associated administration independently where appropriate.
4. Support nursing staff with organizing return transport for patients.
5. Maintain a professional image of the department and Trust at all times.
6. Work flexibly to meet service demands.
7. Collaborate with the Administrative Lead on daily duties.
8. Provide administrative support to the clinical and non-clinical team, including stock management and patient query resolution.
9. Update Trak accurately and liaise with the Information team regarding reports.
10. Conduct planned or ad hoc audits and report findings to the Assistant General Manager.
11. Ensure health and safety compliance within the area.
12. Order stock and maintain logs, including P2P ordering.
