Role: Lead of Marine Sales Location: Weybridge, Surrey Harvest Energy Marine is a leading fuel supplier, servicing ports in strategic locations and managed by a dedicated and highly experienced team. We have a fleet of ocean-going tankers and barges, which are used to effect ship-to-ship bunker supplies to reduce re-fuelling times and to provide our customers with their most important resource. We provide a reliable service to ship owners and traders and have gained a reputation for flexibility and efficiency. We offer highly competitive prices for marine fuels and gas oil, providing our customers with support and expert knowledge throughout the decision-making and supply process. We are now looking to recruit a Lead of Marine Sales to be based in Weybridge, Surrey. This Commercial role will lead high impact marine bunker sales, and marketing initiatives within a highly commercial environment with full P/L responsibility. Principal Responsibilities Lead the commercial strategy creation, delivery, and implementation of the organization's marine bunker fuels business, from a commercial perspective. Lead day to day sales activity - from customer acquisition, sales generation and customer management Ensure the organization's bunker sales portfolio is supported by a nimble, robust, and cost-effective vessel and logistics strategy, which is coherent with the latest marine fuel, carbon abetment and safety regulations Leading commercial and operational activities that include: Help to keep the operational part of our business up and running - supported by operational functions Maintain local contacts with agents, terminals, customs and brokers Finding new client's and maintaining the relationship with current ones Personal skills/attributes required: Fluent in English. Any further languages would be desirable. Knowledge of price risk management Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Excel Practical and tenacious with the ability to work at pace Strong leadership skills and track record Negotiation and team management experience and skills Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills. Attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive Ideally degree qualified Knowledge & Experience 15 years of commercial and operational experience in the Logistics / Shipping, Oil, Marine or Bunkering business Consistent track record as a commercial lead delivering positive results on chartering / maritime / vessel / freight management activities both from a commercial and operational perspective Join Talent Community
