Primary purpose of the role

The role involves delivering the full range of recruitment services provided by the Company for assigned contracts, aligning with SLA/KPIs. It requires acting as a strategic partner to clients to add value, enhance productivity, quality, H&S, and meet people objectives. The role also promotes and embodies the Company’s mission, vision, values, and strategy.
General Responsibilities - Operational
1. Communications: Ensure effective communication within your area to keep Challenge-trg Managed Services' strategy, values, and procedures updated and positively reinforced.
2. Forecasting and Management of Requirements: Understand Tesco’s forecasted labor needs to attract candidates effectively, plan recruitment, manage labor pools, and communicate with the Contract Manager regarding candidate flow and shortfalls.
3. Compliance and H&S: Ensure all activities comply with Company and Tesco policies and legislation. Promote good health and safety practices to minimize risks.
4. Colleague Management, Support, and Welfare: Foster a culture of fairness, transparency, and dignity. Monitor conduct, performance, and attendance, ensuring commitments are fulfilled.
5. Customer Focus: Collaborate with the Contract Manager to promote a customer-centric approach, ensuring Tesco and colleagues have an exceptional experience.
6. Budget Responsibility: Develop and monitor the annual budget, ensuring operational costs are controlled to meet budget and profit targets.
7. Data Recording and Reporting: Accurately record data for KPI and MI reporting, and ensure payroll processes are correctly handled.
General Responsibilities - Tactical
1. Leadership and Management: Assist in managing a team, set targets, motivate, and support service delivery in line with SLAs/KPIs.
2. Workforce Planning: Regularly review resource needs, recruit the right talent, and ensure adequate skills within the team.
3. Team Development: Onboard new starters, provide performance coaching, identify development needs, and conduct PDRs with direct reports.
General Responsibilities - Strategic
1. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with the Contract Manager and Tesco, understanding their issues and goals to deliver appropriate solutions.
