About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Regional Technical Sales Representative to support the continued growth of Solinst products across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
This is a field‑based role focused on customer relationship management, business development, and technical sales support within the environmental monitoring sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, regulators, and environmental professionals, helping customers identify suitable monitoring solutions across the Solinst product portfolio.
Reports to: Managing Director, Solinst UK
Territory: United Kingdom & Ireland
Location: Hybrid – field-based with a combination of home, customer site, and office working

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across the UK & Ireland
* Support sales growth through new business development and account management activity
* Promote the full Solinst product portfolio, including Solinst, Solinst Eureka, and Solinst Flute products
* Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
* Support customers with product selection, quotations, and technical enquiries
* Identify opportunities within environmental, infrastructure, and water monitoring markets
* Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and activity reporting
* Collaborate with internal technical support and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer experience
* Attend industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings as required
* Develop familiarity with environmental monitoring applications and relevant industry standards
* Participate in product and technical training programmes
* Support wider business activities as reasonably required
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in technical sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles
* Background within environmental, engineering, scientific, industrial, or technical sectors would be advantageous
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
* Organised and commercially aware
* Comfortable presenting products and engaging with customers
* Proficient in Microsoft 365; CRM experience beneficial
* Full UK driving licence
* Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
