£100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated HLTA looking for flexible work or a long-term placement in supportive school environments.
The Role:
As an HLTA, you will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across classes in the absence of the teacher
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
Support pupils with varying abilities, including SEND
Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience working within UK schools
Strong classroom management skills
A good understanding of the national curriculum
A flexible, proactive, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
