We're seeking someone to join our team as an Operations Analyst Product Support & Services ISG to act as a point of contact for IED front office for operations related queries. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.
This is an Analyst position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post-execution processes. What will you be doing?
* Point of contact for IED front office for operations related queries.
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a risk-aware manner.
* Awareness of cash equity trade flows, including the ability to distinguish characteristics between developed & emerging markets, broker vs exchange venues, DVP vs cleared trades, etc.
* Point of escalation, and ultimately responsible for functions performed by colleagues within our MS Mumbai captive team and vendor team at eClerx performing reconciliation and trade matching functions for the Equity business.
* Maintaining training documents, procedures & process flows and creates a succession plan for future Subject Matter Experts.
* Recognizes risk in day-to-day processes, demonstrating an ability to draw out the key issues and suggesting ideas for continuous improvement.
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a risk-aware manner, and escalate effectively when appropriate.
* Awareness of cash equity trade flows, including the ability to distinguish characteristics between developed & emerging markets, broker vs exchange venues, DVP vs cleared trades, etc.
* Recognizes risk in day-to-day processes, demonstrating an ability to draw out the key issues and suggesting ideas for continuous improvement.
* Analyzes and exposes ambiguous or complex issues, identifies root causes, and proposes future actions.
* Effective and confident communicator, able to convey issues to senior stakeholders and the Business.
* Strong team player who recognizes the value of collaboration and stakeholder management.
