Position: Cover Supervisor

About the Role
Axcis Education is expanding its dedicated and confident pool of candidates, to deliver cover lessons in Secondary Schools. This would be a great opportunity for candidates that want to gain real hands on experience to support future roles in teaching.
This role would suit candidates with a degree in a subject area, or proven experience in the classroom.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting the curriculum by delivering classes, delivering 1:1 intervention or group work.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
-Delivering lessons
-Leading or supporting small group interventions focused on core subjects
-Ensuring a safe and calm learning environment
-Remove barriers to learning.
-Applying reasonable adjustments to support SEND learners.
-Using de-escalation techniques and consistently applying the schools reward and behaviour policy.
-Encouraging positive peer interactions and building social communication skills
-Promoting emotional regulation and resilience through consistency and structured routines

-Have 2+ years’ experience working in secondary schools.
