Job Overview
A PA who is kind, compassionate, committed to work with a 12‑year‑old boy with autism, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder. The boy is intelligent, asks many questions and enjoys gaming, “poker man” and building Lego. The PA should have a genuine interest in playing the guitar and could become a companion. He also enjoys cinema, trips to the park and fishing.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the young boy, understanding autism, challenging behaviour, and complex needs.
* Assist with daily routines, appointments, and recreational activities.
* Transport the boy to appointments – driver and vehicle access preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD and other complex needs.
* Preferred male PA (genuine occupational requirement).
* Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mileage met by employer).
* Willingness to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service clearance, funded by local authority/employer.
Working Pattern
8 hours per week, 10 hours during school holidays. Working days can be discussed upon application.
Pay & Location
Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour. Location: HU7 Area, Hull.
