Chase Taylor Recruitment is working with a successful local business within the window industry that prides itself on its reputation. They have been supplying and fitting both to the trade and public for many years and are looking to expand their team.
We are currently seeking a Double Glazing Installation Coordinator whose primary focus will be working with their Installation Manager.
The successful candidate will ensure that all works are completed within strict deadlines and meet acceptable quality and standards.
Role Responsibilities Include:
* Plan and schedule upcoming works for installation teams.
* Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring all details are correct.
* Ensure all orders comply with manufacturer requirements and building code standards.
* Submit finalized orders to vendors and manufacturers for fulfillment.
* Track order status and proactively update customers and internal teams on lead times and delivery schedules.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our database.
* Coordinate with shipping to ensure timely and correct delivery, including unloading of lorries and efficient storage of items.
* Uphold excellent phone etiquette while interacting with customers, providing a professional and friendly service.
Candidate Skills & Experience:
* 1–3 years of experience in order processing, data entry, or inside sales, preferably in the windows and doors industry.
* Must have current/recent experience in order processing for windows and doors.
* Ability to read and interpret product specifications, purchase orders, and basic construction documents.
* Ability to manage own workload.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Must currently reside in the UK.
* Experience in the double glazing industry is essential.
