Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in Social Media Strategy (organic + paid)
We are seeking a strategically driven Social Media Strategy Manager to lead the planning, direction and optimisation of our social media presence across organic and paid channels.
This role is primarily focused on social media strategy, content direction and performance growth - with support across Meta and TikTok advertising to ensure paid and organic activity work cohesively to drive brand engagement, customer growth and revenue.
You will own the social roadmap end-to-end, translating brand and trading priorities into clear social plans, creative direction and measurable performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
Own and evolve the overarching social media strategy aligned to brand, campaigns and commercial priorities.
Develop structured content roadmaps across key platforms (primarily Instagram and Meta).
Translate brand campaigns and launches into clear social storytelling plans.
Identify growth opportunities across audience, content and platform trends.
Ensure social activity supports awareness, engagement and conversion objectives.
2. Organic Social Growth & Performance
Drive continuous growth in reach, engagement, community and organic traffic.
Shape content pillars, formats and posting strategy to improve performance.
Use insight and analytics to refine content direction and optimisation priorities.
Identify and scale high-performing content themes and series.
Maintain strong attention to detail across all outputs and publishing.
3. Creative Leadership, Design & Production
Lead creative for social content across campaigns and BAU.
Brief and guide content creation including imagery, video and graphics.
Ensure all content meets brand and visual standards.
Support hands-on design, layout and production where needed.
Maintain consistency across formats, feeds and storytelling.
4. Meta Ads Support & Alignment
Support Meta paid activity to ensure alignment with organic strategy and creative.
Translate organic performance insights into paid creative direction.
Identify audiences, messaging and content opportunities for paid scaling.
Collaborate with performance teams/partners on campaign optimisation.
Ensure cohesive paid and organic social storytelling.
5. Insight & Optimisation
Monitor social and Meta performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Translate data into clear recommendations for content and campaigns.
Track trends, competitors and platform developments.
Continuously refine social approach to improve impact and efficiency.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years social media experience (organic + paid).
Proven track record growing both organic and paid social performance.
Strong social media strategy and content planning capability.
Excellent attention to detail across content and publishing.
Design and content production experience (visual and layout).
Strong understanding of Meta platforms and formats.
Ability to translate performance data into content direction.
Highly organised with strong creative judgement.
