The Role:
As a Marine Insurance Officer you will be provideing the day to day support to the internal department on insurance related matters. You will work closely with the Insurance Executive on all processes. Some of the duties that will be required includecheckingdebit/credit notes issued by brokers and or underwriters, in respect of annual premiums and any H&M/LOH value amendments during the policy term, as well as liasing directly with Insurance Brokers and technical managers. This role will sit within our head office located in London Victoria.
Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of P&I/H&M/War Insurance;
* Good knowledge of Excel – Keeps and updates spreadsheets – with details ofdifferent insurance covers - rates/premiums;
* Team spirit, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, good organisational andcommunication skills are a must;
* Ability to work autonomously and without guidance at times
Requirements
* 2/3 years of experience in marine insurance
* Right to Work Applicants must have permission to work in the UK.
