About the role:
* AMCH are looking for a enthusiastic individual who is looking to take their career to the next level by joining our team as a Trainee Appointed Person. You DO NOT need a valid appointed person qualification, we will put you through the necessary training and course to enable you to get the Appointed Person Ticket.
* Shift hours are Monday to Friday (8am-5pm), due to demand we may require the occasional/additional hours outside of these hours
* Act as cover for any front line staff (Lift Supervisor, Slinger, Operator) on the rare occasion.
* You will be shadowing our current Appointed Person to learn all the basics of site surveys, assessing sites, drawing up lifting plans and providing technical information to our internal team and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare lift plans and method statements
* Attend sites to carry out surveys which includes assessing site conditions, lifting requirements, and equipment to deliver safe, efficient solutions.
* Coordinate with project managers, site teams, crane operators, and lifting supervisors to ensure successful operations.
* Provide expert technical advice
* Ensure lifting teams are fully competent, briefed, and compliant with project and legal standards.
Requirements:
* No Appointed Person Ticket is required for this role, we will put you this course
* Driving License
* Valid CPCS Lift Supervisor, CPCS Slinger Ticket or CPCS A66 Spider Crane Certification
* Knowledge and experience within the lifting industry
* Flexibility
* Ability to commute
* High level of communication skills
* High level of knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
