Closing date : September 26th Location: Nottingham Contract: Full-time, 12-month Secondment Recruitment Partner: Daniel White, Daniel.white1@boots.com Reporting to the Head of Store Workload Planning, Communications and Insights, you'll play a key role within Central Operations to plan and govern all in-store activity for Boots UK, ensuring it can be delivered within the capacity allocated to stores. About The Role: Working closely with the Store Communications team, you'll ensure that all activity is communicated to stores at the right time and through the right channels. You'll partner with stakeholders across business units and enabling functions to understand their strategic aims, and ensure activity lands in stores in a way that supports business goals without disrupting operations across both retail and pharmacy. Develop and maintain a simple, effective Store Activity Plan that enables timely and relevant communication to stores Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure activities are scheduled appropriately for both business priorities and individual store needs Monitor planned workload against store capacity, escalating and facilitating adjustments to protect store operations Adapt plans swiftly in response to changing business needs and priorities Produce and distribute monthly and quarterly activity plans for Stores and Area Managers, ensuring clarity and consistency Create dashboards and reports that provide visibility of upcoming activities and workload across the estate Work cross-functionally to align plans, resolve conflicts, and support others in achieving shared goals What You'll Need to Have: Both stores and support office experience with a detailed understand of the overall operation Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience managing complex workflows or operational plans Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and simplification Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment to adapt plans and priorities to meet changing business needs Strategic thinking to connect daily operational planning to long-term business goals It Would Be Great If You Also Have: Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other planning/reporting platforms Proven ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.
