Temporary Industrial Placement Simulation Engineer
Triumph Motorcycles Limited is seeking a skilled and passionate Simulation Engineer industry placement student to join our team in Hinckley. The role focuses on finite element analysis (FEA) and may also include computational fluid dynamics (CFD), 1‑D analysis, 3‑D CAD design and liaison with design teams and internal departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and test a broad range of skills, including FEA, CFD, 3‑D CAD design and technical drawings.
* Undertake an induction programme and comprehensive CAD training (PTC Creo) and receive FEA training.
* Communicate with other design teams and internal departments such as Purchasing, Quality, Assembly and Manufacturing.
* Participate in the IMechE‑accredited MPDS (Monitored Professional Development Scheme) with Chartered mentors to support your progress.

Requirements for the Role
* Studying for an engineering‑related degree and seeking a student placement for the academic year 2026‑27.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
* Self‑motivated, resilient, flexible and adaptable with the ability to take instruction and work under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clarity and concision.
