Purview of a Transportation Specialist
In this role, the candidate will work with the business and operations teams to solve customer escalations, analyze historic results, and initiate programs. The environment is characterized by rapid growth and increasing complexity. The candidate will drive improvements to visibility tools, methods, and processes to enhance the availability and granularity of actionable data for internal and external partners. The successful candidate must demonstrate significant ownership of customer issues and proactively initiate SOPs and process changes as needed. They should be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication, customer-relationship skills, analytical insight, and advocacy for customers are essential. The candidate will aim for simple, scalable solutions to complex problems and have excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Communication with internal customers (CS, MM, LM, FC, Trans Program, HR).
2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely.
3. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
4. Strong analytical, mediation, and problem resolution skills.
5. Demonstrated leadership with a bias towards action, supporting a culture of ownership and learning.
6. Skilled in collaborative management environments, with clear communication with remote and local management teams.
7. Strong understanding of process improvement techniques.
Key job responsibilities
1. Deep dive analysis of data and producing insights.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve concerns by establishing SOPs and automation.
3. Investigate operation and shipper escalations.
4. Run defect reduction programs by coordinating cross-functional teams.
5. Manage shift operations.
6. Develop reports.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
* Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English.
