Job Description
Senior Cloud Platform Engineer role located in any UK Bupa office, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Salary from £57,800 per annum plus bonus. Job Area: IT. Locations: London, Staines - Willow House.
The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining cloud‑based platforms, ensuring reliability, security and scalability, and collaborating with engineering, security and operations teams.
Responsibilities
* Design, build and maintain cloud-based platforms and infrastructure.
* Support reliability, performance and security of systems.
* Develop automated processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
* Work closely with engineering teams to enable smooth delivery of applications.
* Monitor systems and respond to issues to ensure service continuity.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of platform capabilities.
* Ensure solutions align with best practice and internal standards.
* Share knowledge and support colleagues within the team.
Qualifications
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
* Strong knowledge of infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.
* Confidence using tools for monitoring, deployment and configuration.
* Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell or similar).
* Understanding of security, reliability and performance considerations.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
