Whitmore Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a full time Assistant Headteacher / Inclusion Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our fantastic team from September 2026.
Contract: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: Leadership Point 7-11 £61,582 to £67,796 (dependent on experience and qualifications).

Responsibilities and Qualifications
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who will be responsible for Inclusion and our Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will have experience of leading whole‑school projects and curriculum subjects with impact. The successful applicant will also have a strong understanding of teaching and learning and will confidently use data to drive strategy.
* Has the ability to effectively communicate with staff, parents and governors
* Can use school assessment data to inform school strategy
* Can organise their own time and ensure strong communication with parents
* Has experience of teaching within KS1 and KS2
* Can demonstrate impact in developing an area of the school’s curriculum
