Senior Practitioner – Lowestoft Team
Job Description
The Senior Practitioner will support delivery of quality front‑line services in Waveney, working with the Lowestoft Team to provide high‑quality services to the people of the area. The role involves collaborative working with key stakeholders, supporting the Team Manager, and contributing to system transformation and budget management.
Responsibilities
* Support the Team Manager in leading and managing the Lowestoft team, ensuring effective operations in planning, staff wellbeing, and development.
* Work in partnership with key stakeholders to highlight opportunities for joint delivery and reduction in service cost with the health and care system.
* Assist the Team Manager in responding to the needs of the service, monitoring and reviewing service delivery, supporting staff to deliver best practice, and escalating risks as appropriate.
* Provide robust budget management and implement budgetary control mechanisms to meet spending profiles while delivering cost‑saving challenges.
* Ensure staff are fully engaged with systems transformation, working effectively with the transformation team to embed changes in information, technology and digital.
* Promote a high‑performance culture within the area teams that is flexible, innovative, responsive to changing priorities, and empowers people to deliver excellence, best value, and continuous improvement.
