Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for event day Chefsto join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Hours of work:
This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work.
Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working
Rates of pay for this role start from £14.90p/h
Job Description
* Prepare hot and cold food to set specifications, ensuring consistent quality and taste
* Comply with all food safety legislation and maintain Food Hygiene Level 2 standards
* Provide excellent service to FOH colleagues, supporting the best customer experience
* Actively participate in stock control procedures, including accurate costing and regular stock takes
* Ensure portion control, correct preparation methods, and minimise wastage to keep costs down
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and attractive kitchen and service area during all shifts
* Demonstrate responsibility for personal and colleagues' health and safety, and complete all required training
Qualifications

* A mind full of food prep techniques and cooking methods, with the ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
* Eagle eyes for detail, multitasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Excellent communication skills and a hunger for learning new challenges
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* A Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification and previous experience in fast-paced kitchens
