Are you on the lookout for a rewarding flexible job where you can make a difference in the lives of others?
Look no further! We have a great opportunity for you.
Our Moray relief pool is growing, and we now have relief job opportunities in Buckie. Our relief contracts offer flexibility—tell us when you're available, and we will try to assign shifts that fit your schedule.
Shift Patterns
We provide dedicated support 24/7, which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.
The Role
As a relief colleague, you will play an important part in our team, ensuring we provide the best care and support during staff training, holidays, and absences.
Your main responsibilities will include supporting individuals with disabilities and/or additional needs in daily activities such as shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and personal care. You may also engage in hobbies like arts & crafts, gardening, cinema visits, meals out, swimming, discos, and walks.
About You
No prior experience is necessary. We recruit based on values and transferable skills. We will pay you during training and provide all necessary practical skills. Additionally, we will fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees.
All we ask is that you bring:
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* A positive approach to learning
* Confidence in using computers
If this sounds interesting, apply today! We look forward to hearing from you.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with our Training Academy's support.
If you join our team, you will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.
Cornerstone welcomes applications from all community sections and actively seeks to increase workforce diversity.
