With a customer base exceeding 3,000 and experiencing rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise level Business Consultant to join our large successful consultancy team.
Position Summary:
To deliver consultancy services at customer sites or remotely for projects, upgrades, and adhoc work within the Enterprise Division. The software is mostly based on MS Business Central / MS Dynamics NAV and must be delivered within a defined timescale and to a professional standard following the Surestep methodology.
Major Responsibilities:
* Conduct all elements of consultancy services related to implementation, including analysis, configuration, data migration, workshops, training, and go-live support for Eque2 Enterprise customers.
* Produce analysis reports and project documentation following the Surestep Methodology.
* Check the quality of customer-supplied data during data migration.
* Deliver product training courses and documentation.
* Specify required system changes.
* Test software system changes and customisations.
* Assist in managing the transfer of the system to support and produce necessary documentation.
* Provide advice and guidance to customers.
* Offer additional adhoc consultancy services, including training and UAT support for upgrades.
* Liaise with customers to ensure successful project implementation.
* Manage customer expectations effectively.
* Collaborate with Project Managers on larger projects to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications:
Driving Licence
Experience / Skills / Knowledge:
* Intermediate/advanced Excel skills in MS Office
* Knowledge of finance and accounting within construction and related industries
* Knowledge of housebuilding (advantageous)
* Experience with large software project implementations
* IT experience
* Strong communication skills up to director level
* Familiarity with software development life cycle
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Ability to build effective relationships within the team, wider group, and with clients
* Experience in a Professional Services Environment contributing to revenue
* Client relationship management experience
* Knowledge of software implementation and business change methodologies
* Ability to travel within the UK
* Some knowledge of Microsoft Business Central (advantageous)
* Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and data migration
* Experience with Rapidstart (beneficial)
