Summary


About the role

Our Swindon branch is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join their team! This is a 12-month, part-time opportunity working Thursday and Friday from 8.45am to 5pm, and every other Saturday from 8.45am to 12.30pm.

The role involves helping people through various conversations with our diverse range of customers, supporting them with our products, and resolving queries. Building relationships and understanding customer needs are important. Being a team player and a role model is essential.

The role also includes finding resolutions, handling sensitive or challenging situations, staying updated with policies and procedures, supporting customers via telephone, and managing administrative inquiries.

About you

You should already be in a customer service role with experience helping others. You’ll enjoy talking to different people, be accurate, and eager to learn to handle customer inquiries effectively.

Key requirements:

* Current experience interacting directly with customers and providing excellent service
* Strong communication skills and confidence in talking to diverse individuals
* Experience managing challenging or complex customer inquiries carefully and sensitively
* Good teamwork skills and supporting others

Desirable experience includes:

* Experience in retail banking
* Coaching or leading team members
