* We are a small "family style" residential care home in Rogerstone on the outskirts of Newport and provide support for the elderly including those who suffer from the effects of dementia.

* We are currently looking to recruit a part time Administrative Assistant to join our residential care team for 12-16 hours/week over 3-4 weekdays each week. This is tempoerary maternity cover but may lead to a permanent role.
The Role
* Managing payroll
* Issuing our staff rota
* Maintaining staff/resident records
* Managing financial records ie fees, personal expenses, petty cash
* Supporting staff recruitment
* Support to our manager and senior team
* Managing stationary/display materials
* Supporting our systems and processes

About you
We are looking for someone to join our team who
* Experience from similar role
* Good with numbers
* PC literate/familiar with Microsoft packages inc Word and Excel
* Professional and good communication skills
* Is Caring & Kind and committed to helping improve the quality of life of our residents
* Is resident in or close to Rogerstone
* Has the right to work in the UK
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £14.60 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Work Location: In person
