Are you a full stack Analyst Programmer with a desire to make your mark on policing through the development of systems?
Join the ICT Development Team and help to deliver exciting digital solutions to both Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies. You'll be joining our team of Analyst Programmers helping to turn ideas into actual systems and solutions, improving and maintaining existing systems, and working with police staff and officers to deliver benefits to the forces and transforming and mobilising our frontline officers.
What's involved:
* Working closely with colleagues to understand and analyse the user requirements
* Design, develop, and test solutions to meet the user specification
* Assisting with testing, implementation, and supporting the users
* Working on developing solutions for both Police staff and officers
What we're looking for:
Essential Criteria
* Significant, demonstrable experience in a similar role
* Significant experience in programming in C# to meet business requirement
* Experience in database design, preferably with SQL Server
* Systems analysis capability demonstrable by experience of analysis of a particular application
* Experience of project development through analysis, development, peer review and testing
* Good communication skills with the ability to be an effective team member
* Experience of developing web applications (ASP.Net MVC / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / Entity Framework)
Desirable Criteria
* Reporting Services, Integration Services, ETL (SSIS / T-SQL / Data Warehouse)
* Mobile development (MAUI / Android)
* Experience with Microsoft Azure (AppServices / SQL Server) and Azure DevOps
* Ability to travel throughout Norfolk and Suffolk as required
* Relevant professional computer-related qualification e.g. HNC/HND/Degree
An experience of policing at local, regional, or national levels will be helpful in this role, as will experience of the public sector.
