Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons for students with special educational needs (SEN) Assisting students with their learning activities and providing additional support as needed Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Working one-on-one or in small groups with SEN students to help them achieve their learning goals Assisting with the assessment of students' progress and development Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support SEN students Education: Relevant educational background in teaching assistant or SEN support Experience: Prior experience working in a school or educational setting with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN procedures and best practises Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: SEN Teaching Assistant qualification Additional training in areas such as autism awareness or behaviour management Working Conditions: Working hours may vary, but typically full-time during school hours May involve some physical activity and assisting students with mobility Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
