Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students while fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively. The successful applicant will have a background in teaching, particularly and Physical Education, and may also have experience in sports coaching.
Duties
* Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Teach Physical Education, ensuring lessons are interactive and engaging.
* Manage classroom behaviour through effective strategies that promote a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere.
* Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
* Encourage student participation in sports and extracurricular activities, promoting teamwork and physical fitness.
Qualifications
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is essential.
* Experience in teaching at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and parents.
* Organisational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
