The Headteacher and Governors of Portobello Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate.
* A thorough understanding of learning in the Early Years
* Excellent classroom practice, with high expectations and evidence of improving standards
* Excellent behaviour management skills, with an understanding of individual needs and the ability to develop relationships based on respect
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive outlook and growth mindset value base
* The ability and drive to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and by their own initiative
* An understanding of a range of special educational needs and recent experience in supporting learning
* A commitment to the wider development of the school and community
