We are seeking a Shift Lead on our night shift to ensure all Production activities within an Assembly area work at optimum performance to deliver an agreed production plan on time and whilst meeting all standards.
Key responsibilities:
1. Alignment of Teams and resources to achieve agreed production schedule inline with WC strategy.
2. Increase production capacity and reduce changeover times. Prioritise changeover activity and coordinate to support business performance.
3. Develop High performing teams. Creation and execution of succession plans completion of PDP and 1-2-1s to maintain team engagement.
4. Drive high performance in physical area of responsibility. Manage the team to ensure they strive for excellence and efficiency.
5. Facilitate cross-functional improvement with team and other departments. Drive continuous improvement aligned to PPS. Ensure effective information exchange with all shifts and key support functions.
6. Deliver performance against agreed targets for Safety, RFT, OEE, DLE, DSL and Scrap.
7. Manage the performance of direct reports effectively, to include recognition, performance management and disciplinary. Effective workforce planning including monitoring sickness, absence and Holiday.
8. Brief team on plant / company communications. Through Tier structure ensure escalation and feedback channels are maintained.
9. Participate as required in Plant initiatives and projects.

Qualifications
10. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and problem⁃solving skills
11. Must demonstrate a desire and ability to lead other people in a team⁃based manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision
12. Solid People Management Skills: delegating, coaching and motivating
13. Strong leadership skills with ability to use good judgment to resolve conflict
14. Ability to effectively communicate vision, strategy and key objectives
15. Act as a positive change agent and demonstrate strong change management skills
16. Must possess a strong use of continuous improvement methodologies to meet or exceed Safety, Quality, Schedule and Productivity/Cost performance expectations
17. Must be able to effectively apply root cause analysis techniques to solve problems
18. Demonstrate end⁃to⁃end "value stream" leadership
19. Metrics driven, results oriented and self⁃motivated
20. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Proficient in SAP
21. Experience with implementing Lean/Six Sigma principles a plus
22. Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience including two (2) years in a supervisory role
23. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job⁃related experience
24. 5% Travel
