Overview
The role is focused on tender activities with some business development support, working to secure and manage opportunities for TCSUK in line with TotalEnergies and group strategy.
Responsibilities
* Manage and update the opportunity pipeline.
* Identify opportunities and evaluate fit with TCSUK strategy.
* Establish a project plan with key milestones, participants, timelines and actions for approved opportunities.
* Analyse and highlight gaps in requirement vs our offering.
* Formulate a structured, compelling, and tailored response, working with commercial and technical SMEs and ensuring that value proposition is included.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all relevant requirements are captured and that scope and expected deliverables are clear.
* Create and update a tender project tracker, ensuring traceability and accountability for all actions.
* Responsible for final quality checks prior submission.
Long term tender projects and strategy
* Identify and improve win themes and value proposition, in line with changing customer needs and market opportunities.
* Continuously update tender library, ensuring TCSUK is ready to respond to any opportunity which helps to deliver the B2B & B2G Long Term Plan.
* Produce and present to the organization monthly updates on tender opportunities.
Business Development
The Role will be primarily focused on tender activities but some business development support may be required :
* Priority 1 - assist the team in securing new B2G territories by responding to LEVI tenders and other that address TCSUK strategic interests.
* Liaise with the TCSUK, TEMUK sales teams, TG&P along with other UK Group companies for lead generation, cross selling and resolution of relevant sales issues.
* Work closely with TECS marketing team to develop and update EV sales tools (sales presentations, brochures, case studies, market studies, promotions).
* Support clients with working knowledge of the technical requirements and as an effective interface between internal/external operational teams i.e. installation core layout & equipment requirement, on-site/grid capacity & upgrade.
* Build new business propositions, quotations and prepare rollout together with the commercial, marketing & operations team.
* Develop and secure B2B and B2B2G opportunities for TCS UK business.
* Build long lasting (customer) relationships and partnerships with businesses.
* Create synergy between Group Low Carbon solutions, including solar, battery storage and EV to meet customer needs.
* Cross selling opportunities for business energy supply via TG&P.
Other aspects
* Active market watch of new energy developments and trends
* Active monitoring and engagement of public/private tender organizations and websites.
Qualifications
* 3+ years experience of project management, writing and delivery of complex bids, with evidence of successful results.
* Good knowledge of new energies, 5 years’ commercial experience is desirable.
* A passion for e-Mobility, EV Charging and sustainable mobility will be advantageous.
* This role requires entrepreneurship & adaptability to change in a fast-moving business environment and market.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to build strong partnership relations at all levels to Director/MD.
* Good relationships and ease in matrix management, demonstrated through experience in an operational or project management or marketing strategy & implementation role.
* Creative, entrepreneurial, and above all a team player.
* Flexible and agile attitude in rapidly growing environment.
* Responsiveness and decision-making ability, knowing when to involving others.
