Quantity Surveyor – Consultancy
Ashford, Kent (Hybrid)
Up to £65,000 + Package
I’m currently working with a well-established and growing cost consultancy based in Kent who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding project portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team delivering a diverse range of projects, where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own schemes while also supporting senior colleagues on larger developments.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Preparing cost plans, estimates, and Bills of Quantities
* Managing multiple projects across various sectors
* Providing procurement advice and managing tender processes
* Administering contracts and handling valuations and final accounts
* Attending site visits and liaising with clients and stakeholders
* Supporting project delivery while maintaining quality assurance standards
What They’re Looking For
* Experience in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to manage both long-term and fast-paced projects
* Consultancy or main contractor background considered
* Familiarity with CostX (or similar software) is desirable
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach
