As an apprentice, you'll have the chance to gain valuable experience and work alongside a range of Academy staff, including the Head of IT. You'll receive mentorship and guidance to ensure a positive and productive experience, with training taking place both on-site at the Academy and off-site at external locations.

In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day In The Job
* Assist with the maintenance of the Academy's IT equipment, including managing IT suites and laptops, replacing broken equipment, and repairing damages.
* Help develop and grow the Central Resource System of ICT equipment.
* Integrate network-related software into an existing network environment.
* Log and respond to network service calls and provide technical network support to end users as needed.
* Handle IT queries via telephone, including taking messages and passing them on appropriately.
* Maintain sound equipment in the tiered seating area, including preparing for assemblies and repairing equipment.
* Monitor, test, and adjust network systems to meet standards using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Apply diagnostic tools and techniques to identify causes of network performance issues.

* Salary - £14,536.20
* Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge
* Experience working with ICT equipment
* Good knowledge of computing software, hardware, and peripherals
* Good time management skills
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 5 in English
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship offers comprehensive training in technology, preparing you for a career in IT. You'll gain hands-on experience in technical support, device configuration, software support, performance optimization, and virtual environments. Our online training includes real-time classes and self-paced courses from industry experts.
You will be based full-time with an employer, becoming an integral part of the team.
