Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Prescribing Pharmacist for the Redbridge, Barking and Southend region.
We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated Primary Care Pharmacist looking to further develop the team within the region.
The post holder will be a qualified pharmacist holding an independent prescribing qualification, who acts within their professional boundaries as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of GPs, ANPs, Physician Associates, Paramedics and First Contact Physios.
As a member of the regional team, you will work closely with the regional management team to help improve patient care and make cost effective prescribing decisions within the region.
To be considered for this exciting role you must have
* Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council Independent prescribing qualification
* Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role
* Previous General Practice experience is desirable, however, those with no experience are encouraged to apply as full training and induction will be provided

You will receive continuous professional development through our nationally renowned GP-led training programme, as well as focused training to develop your digital clinical skills.
