Finance Manager
Central London – Hybrid (3 days on site)
£65,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits
Are you a qualified accountant looking for a hands-on finance role with ownership, variety, and the chance to manage a small team?
We Do Group are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager to support a £27m+ contract portfolio across multiple sites. This role will suit someone confident with financial control and reporting, who also enjoys working with non-finance teams to improve performance and profitability.
You’ll manage a small team and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and supporting commercial decisions across your area.
WISH LIST
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* Good grounding in financial and management reporting
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
THE ROLE
Financial Management & Reporting:
* Take ownership of monthly management accounts, P&L and balance sheet for a portfolio of contracts
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles for your area
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and reporting packs
* Support with working capital, cashflow and debt management
Business Partnering & Commercial Insight:
* Build strong relationships with operational leads to support financial decision-making
* Provide insight into cost drivers, margin trends and performance risks
* Support the Commercial Finance and Growth teams with pricing, bids and new projects
Team Support & Development:
* Line manage a small team (c.2–3) Finance Analysts or Assistants
* Provide coaching, guidance and support with day-to-day queries and reporting tasks
* Help embed strong financial discipline and reporting consistency across your team
Process Improvement & Governance:
* Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and data quality
* Ensure controls are maintained and aligned with group policies
* Support the implementation of finance systems and tools
YOUR PROFILE
* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
* Experience in a similar finance role within a multi-site or service-based environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder skills
* Hands-on and comfortable working across reporting, analysis and people management
* Comfortable managing deadlines and multiple priorities
