Are you an experienced loan documentation specialist looking to step into a leadership role with broad exposure across corporate and syndicated lending? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Loan Documentation & Securities team, taking ownership ofplex transactions and driving excellence in documentation standards.
Your new role
We are seeking a Manager for the Corporate & Syndication Team within a Loan Documentation & Securities function. You will oversee the end-to-end handling of loan documentation ensuring accuracy, enforceability, andpliance across bilateral and syndicated facilities. You will collaborate closely with account officers, internal departments, legal counsel, and external parties, playing a central role in supporting corporate lending activity and the growth of the loan book.
1. Lead the preparation,pletion, and perfection of loan documentation across corporate and syndicated deals.
2. Manage the review and negotiation of facility letters, LMA-based agreements, intercreditor arrangements, security documentation, and ancillary contracts.
3. Ensure all documentation aligns with approved credit terms and regulatory requirements.
4. Coordinate legal opinions (including international entities) and manage conditions precedent/conditions subsequent tracking.
5. Liaise with solicitors and third parties on documentation matters, attending calls or meetings where required.
6. Oversee secondary trading documentation processes.
7. Manage the execution of documents, ensuring proper signatory identification and timely return of executed paperwork.
8. Supervise and guide team members, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
9. Maintain strong cross-departmental collaboration, including with Retail Teams and other business lines.
10. Uphold robust risk management,pliance, and reporting standards.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Be a Native/Fluent Cantonese Speaker.
12. Minimum 5 years’ experience in loan documentation and/ormercial lending.
13. Hold a Legal / Finance degree with a good academic background
14. Familiarity with LMA documentation for both primary and secondary transactions (preferred).
15. Exceptionalmunication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
16. Ability to problem-solve, negotiate, and manageplex workloads with accuracy and professionalism.
17. Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is beneficial.
