The UKG Pro Technical Analyst will be responsible for understanding business processes and applications at a deep technical level, participating in the development, testing, and delivery of changes, defect fixes, and enhancements in line with project priorities.
The successful candidate will act as a technical subject matter expert for systems and solutions related to UKG Pro and Workforce Management (WFM).
The UKG Pro engineer will work closely with Business Analysts and other functional/technical analysts, alongside Payroll and P&C SMEs, to prioritize the backlog and support delivery through 3-week sprint cycles.
The required changes involve technical system modifications, process improvements, or training enhancements.
The analyst will collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess, document, design, and implement fixes and enhancements to add value to our P&C and Retail colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop a strong understanding of existing systems and applications for future solutions.
2. Scope requirements for payroll and P&C system pain points and support the Project Manager in creating detailed business cases.
3. Work with product managers and owners to analyze, develop, test, and implement changes aligned with project priorities.
4. Ensure changes to WFM applications or interfaces are agreed upon, scheduled, and completed on time.
5. Build relationships with third-party service providers to ensure support and development services meet expectations.
6. Participate in testing, configuration, and implementation of system upgrades, changes, and enhancements.
7. Collaborate with the Product Domain to align business, product, and technical strategies.
8. Evaluate technical and functional designs against business requirements for seamless transition to support.
9. Work with teams to shape solutions that support strategic organizational goals.
10. Challenge business assumptions to deliver solutions for current and future needs.
11. Leverage knowledge from analysis, design, and testing to become an SME and facilitate training.
12. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
13. Support the creation and management of epics, user stories, and backlog items within Product Teams.
Key skills, knowledge, and experience include:
1. At least 5 years of relevant experience with UKG Pro, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation.
2. Knowledge of UKG Pro modules such as Scheduling, Timekeeping, Absence, Analytics, Data Hub, ESS integrations, Dell Boomi, and Clock Settings.
3. Experience working within Agile methodologies.
