We are currently recruiting Engineering Apprentices to join our March team at G’s, where we operate a Beetroot manufacturing facility providing great-tasting Beets to major UK retailers.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest and passion for building a career in Engineering within the food manufacturing and farming industry. You will work with our operational teams, involving a variety of equipment and machinery, to gain diverse experience and learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Breakdowns/Fault Finding: Promptly attend machinery breakdowns and malfunctions, carrying out necessary work to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
* Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment and services are well maintained. Work to maximize yields, quality, and profit while minimizing costs.
* Equipment: Ensure all equipment is in safe working order, with timely servicing and repairs.
* Research, Innovation, and Product Development: Participate in identifying new product concepts, varieties, and systems. Assist in improvement projects, including design, manufacture, and validation of equipment.
The ideal candidate:
* Wants to be part of the future of Engineering
* Is a team player with problem-solving skills, adaptability, and logical thinking
* Has a minimum of 4 GCSEs including Maths and English (grades 9-4) or equivalent
* Can communicate effectively with a range of people and work as part of a team
* Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Must be 18 or older due to the nature of operations
