As an autonomous practitioner you will be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, delegating as appropriate to support workers.
Regular supervision is provided by experienced band 6 and 7 therapists and takes the form of formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, caseload discussion and formal clinical supervision sessions. The structure of the therapy teams at Southend ensures that there is always access to advice and support from a senior therapist.
The role involves active participation in the weekend/bank holiday working rotas and on‑call service, once the required training has been competed.
