Overview
A public sector organisation in Norfolk is seeking a senior Litigation Locum to lead a Housing Litigation Department on an interim basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading and overseeing the housing litigation function
• Managing a caseload of housing litigation matters, including:
• Disrepair claims
• Complex possession proceedings
• Providing supervision and guidance to junior lawyers and paralegals
• Handling injunction-related matters
• Ensuring continuity and stability within the department during the transition period
Requirements
• Senior-level litigation experience within the public sector
• Strong background in housing litigation
• Experience supervising and supporting junior staff
• Ability to step in quickly and provide leadership
• Working Arrangements
• Hybrid working model
• Expectation to attend the office 3 days per week initially
• Norfolk-based
