Warehouse Team Lead – Swindon / Rotation shifts 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
Rapier Employment are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader support our well-known client based in Swindon.
Job: Warehouse Team Leader
Pay: £27,per annum
Days: 40 hours per week – 5 out of 7 days
Hours: Rotating shifts 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
Job includes:
1. Achieve company KPIs and absence management targets while fostering a positive and proactive depot culture.
2. Ensure vehicles are loaded with precision and care using appropriate handling equipment, straps, and blankets. Promptly report any damages to guarantee on-time, in-full delivery.
3. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in line with company policies.
4. Manage inbound/outbound vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
5. Conduct inventory controls for consumables and products.
6. Utilise internal systems, including ACORN, WMS, and ePod equipment, and provide relevant reports to stakeholders.
7. Support the debriefing process for Delivery Teams on both AM and PM shifts, ensuring all paperwork is completed and returns are processed accurately.
8. Collaborate with the shift manager to investigate and report all warehouse-related incidents promptly.
9. Other duties required for the position.
Experience:
10. Demonstrate supervisory or team leader capabilities with the ability to motivate, develop, and oversee team members effectively.
11. Proficient IT skills, especially with warehouse management systems.
12. Experience in planning and organising workloads to meet targets and deadlines.
13. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance within warehouse and transport environments.
14. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment. Two-person home delivery is particularly advantageous
Requirements:
15. Must have: Possession of a valid FLT counterbalance licence.
16. Must have: A driving licence suitable for shunting up to tonnes.
