New Opportunity – Group Commercial Sales Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Commercial Sales Manager to join a growing industrial and manufacturing group based in Nottingham.
We are seeking a commercially driven Group Commercial Sales Manager with strong experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors to drive profitable revenue growth across multiple businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing commercial strategies, managing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting long-term growth objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Group Commercial Sales Manager looking to play a key role within a growing group of manufacturing businesses. This position offers a mixture of home working, manufacturing site visits, and regular customer travel.
As the new Group Commercial Sales Manager, you will:
* Develop and implement commercial sales strategies as Group Commercial Sales Manager
* Drive profitable revenue growth across industrial and manufacturing markets
* Identify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and end users
* Manage key accounts, contract renewals, and long-term supply agreements as Group Commercial Sales Manager
* Lead pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and margin management
* Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals within the Group Commercial Sales Manager role
* Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to support customer requirements
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and raw material pricing
* Track sales pipeline activity and forecasts using CRM systems
* Support and mentor sales or account management team members where required
Requirements for this role:
* 5+ years’ experience in commercial sales within manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Strong B2B sales and account management experience
* Excellent commercial awareness and financial understanding
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Experience managing tenders and long-term supply agreements
* Ability to understand manufacturing processes and pricing structures
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strategic and customer‑focused mindset
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* Full right to work in the UK
