This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a new home from the ground up, embedding a strong culture of quality care and person-centred support from day one. You will be working with extraordinary people who achieve fantastic successes and ensuring that every person we support leads a happy, purposeful life. About the Role You will oversee the care delivery within the new service, manage and supervise the staff team, and ensure the highest standards of care are consistently provided. As the Registered Manager, you will also be responsible for liaising with the CQC, building strong local authority relationships, and continually monitoring the evolving clinical needs of our service users. Key Duties Leading the setup and development of a newly registered home Formulating individualised support plans Writing residential core assessments, pathway plans, and professional reports Engaging in direct work with people we support and their families Day-to-day oversight of operations, policies, finances, and administration Budget management and compliance with regulatory standards Maintaining accurate manual and electronic records About You Clear enhanced DBS record Strong experience working with Social Services and Local Authorities A Health & Social Care degree or a relevant management qualification (or equivalent) In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and current care legislation Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills Minimum 2 years in a similar managerial role A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable Package Market leading pay rates Length of service leave (up to 5 extra days holiday) Fully funded Blue Light Discount Card Access to Wagestream (flexible pay, discounts, budgeting tools) Employee Assistance Programme (free counselling & legal advice) Free compliance training and development opportunities NEST Pension Scheme Flexible rota design Refer-a-Friend bonus Free enhanced DBS check Life Assurance (2x salary) The successful applicant will be supported through a comprehensive induction process and will play a critical role in the successful launch and ongoing development of this new service.
