CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions.
CoramIAC - Intercountry Adoption Centre - is part of the Coram Group of children's charities have been working with families adopting from across the world for over 26 years. CoramIAC is a charity, not-for-profit and an accredited, legally registered adoption agency. We run outstanding services to support children and families affected by adoption. With the majority of our adopters being from the global majority, adopting from countries where they have connections. We have a diverse staff team. We have had four consecutive outstanding judgements from Ofsted.
About the role
This role will support the delivery of our Information and Advice Service within Coram IAC. The service provides guidance to prospective adopters, adoptees, local authority social workers, and other child care professionals.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many enquirers, handling daily enquiries via phone, email, and web forms. You'll also coordinate bookings for information sessions and interviews, manage case records, assist with course administration and invoicing, and ensure that our guidance materials remain accurate and up to date.
You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team delivering a responsive, high-quality service. Your work will play a key role in supporting prospective adopters as they begin and progress through their intercountry adoption journey.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a sensitive, organised, and timely manner. A calm and compassionate approach is essential when supporting individuals at such a significant stage in their lives.
